Hà Nội: Ban VH TƯ GHPGVN tổ chức buổi tổng duyệt chương trình nghệ thuật chào mừng Đại lễ Phật đản LHQ - Vesak 2025 - Central Cultural Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Holds Final Rehearsal for Vesak 2025 Celebratory Performance

PGĐS – Chiều ngày 23/4/2025 (nhằm ngày 26/3 năm Ất Tỵ ), tại Nhà hát Âu Cơ – Hà Nội, đã diễn ra buổi tổng duyệt chương trình nghệ thuật khai mạc và bế mạc Đại lễ Vesak 2025 dưới sự chỉ đạo nghệ thuật của đạo diễn Lê Minh Sơn. Đây là một trong những hoạt động quan trọng trong chuỗi hoạt động văn hóa nghệ thuật chuẩn bị cho Đại lễ Vesak 2025 – sự kiện văn hóa tiêu điểm, tâm linh mang tầm quốc tế có ý nghĩa đặc biệt đối với cộng đồng Phật tử trong và ngoài nước, hứa hẹn mang lại những màn biểu diễn nghệ thuật đặc sắc và ý nghĩa.

This afternoon, April 23, 2025 (corresponding to the 26th day of the 3rd lunar month, Year of the Wood Snake), a full rehearsal for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the United Nations Day of Vesak 2025 took place at the Au Co Theater in Hanoi, under the artistic direction of renowned director Le Minh Son. This rehearsal marks one of the key activities in the series of cultural and artistic events leading up to Vesak 2025—a spiritually and culturally significant international event for the global Buddhist community. The program promises to deliver deeply meaningful and visually captivating performances, highlighting the essence of Buddhist values through the arts.

Buổi tổng duyệt có sự quang lâm tham dự và chỉ đạo của Thượng tọa Thích Đức Thiện – Phó Chủ tịch, Tổng Thư ký Hội đồng Trị sự GHPGVN; Hòa thượng Thích Thọ Lạc – UVTT HĐTS,Trưởng Ban Văn hóa Trung ương GHPGVN; Thượng tọa Thích Minh Quang – Phó Chánh Văn phòng 1 TƯGH, Thượng tọa Thích Quảng Tiếp – Phó Văn phòng 1 TƯGH; cùng quý cư sĩ, Phật tử thành viên BVH TƯ và quý nghệ sĩ đồng tham dự.

The final rehearsal was honored by the presence and guidance of Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien – Vice President and General Secretary of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS); Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac – Standing Member of the Executive Council and Head of the VBS Central Cultural Committee; Most Venerable Thich Minh Quang – Deputy Chief of Office 1 of the VBS Central Administration And Most Venerable Thich Quang Tiep – Deputy of Office 1 of the VBS Central Administration. Also in attendance were lay devotees, members of the Central Cultural Committee, and distinguished artists who contributed to the preparations for this meaningful Buddhist event.

Chương trình nghệ thuật đã được xây dựng công phu, kết hợp hài hòa giữa âm nhạc truyền thống và hiện đại, tôn vinh tinh thần từ bi, trí tuệ của đạo Phật, đồng thời thể hiện bản sắc văn hóa Việt Nam trong dòng chảy hội nhập quốc tế. Đạo diễn Lê Minh Sơn cùng ê-kíp sáng tạo đã dành nhiều tâm huyết để mang đến một không gian nghệ thuật giàu cảm xúc, truyền tải thông điệp hòa bình và yêu thương – đúng với tinh thần của Đại lễ Vesak. Sau khi lắng nghe và theo dõi toàn bộ chương trình, chư Tôn đức đã có những nhận xét sâu sắc và mang tính định hướng để các tiết mục được hoàn thiện hơn, phản ánh đúng tinh thần Phật giáo và tôn vinh ý nghĩa thiêng liêng của ngày Đản sinh Đức Phật.

The show was meticulously crafted, harmoniously blending traditional and contemporary music to honor the spirit of compassion and wisdom in Buddhism, while showcasing the cultural identity of Vietnam within the context of global integration. Director Le Minh Son and his creative team poured their hearts into creating an emotionally rich artistic space that conveys messages of peace and love — true to the spirit of the Vesak celebration. After attentively observing the full performance, the Venerable Monks offered insightful and guiding remarks to help refine each act, ensuring they faithfully reflect Buddhist values and honor the sacred significance of the Buddha’s BirthDay.

Thượng tọa Thích Đức Thiện đánh giá cao tinh thần làm việc nghiêm túc của các nghệ sĩ, đạo diễn, nhạc công, và toàn bộ ekip thực hiện chương trình. Thượng tọa đã nhấn mạnh: “Các tiết mục cần lột tả được chiều sâu tâm linh, lan tỏa thông điệp từ bi – trí tuệ – hòa bình của Đức Phật đến với quần chúng, đặc biệt là trong bối cảnh xã hội hiện đại”. Hòa thượng Thích Thọ Lạc chia sẻ thêm: “Văn nghệ Phật giáo không chỉ là biểu diễn nghệ thuật mà còn là một phương tiện truyền bá Chánh pháp. Cần tinh tế trong âm nhạc, vũ đạo và ngôn ngữ để truyền tải được nét đẹp văn hóa Phật giáo, khơi gợi cảm xúc chân thiện mỹ trong lòng người xem”.

Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien highly praised the dedicated and professional spirit of the artists, director, musicians, and the entire production team. He emphasized: “Each performance must convey spiritual depth and spread the message of compassion, wisdom, and peace of the Buddha to the public, especially in the context of modern society”. Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac further shared: “Buddhist art is not merely a form of performance, but a powerful medium for spreading the Dharma. It requires delicacy in music, movement, and language to express the beauty of Buddhist culture and evoke genuine feelings of truth, goodness, and beauty in the hearts of the audience”.

Thượng tọa Thích Minh Quang cũng đưa ra góp ý chi tiết về bố cục chương trình và sự liên kết giữa các tiết mục, đồng thời khuyến khích các nghệ sĩ khai thác sâu hơn chất liệu văn hóa dân tộc kết hợp tinh thần Phật giáo để tạo nên những tiết mục vừa gần gũi, vừa thiêng liêng: “Mỗi tiết mục cần là một bài pháp bằng âm nhạc và hình ảnh, chạm đến tâm hồn người nghe”. Kết thúc buổi tổng duyệt, chư Tôn đức động viên toàn thể đội ngũ nghệ sĩ tiếp tục nỗ lực, chăm chút cho từng chi tiết để chương trình văn nghệ trong Đại lễ Phật đản Vesak thực sự trở thành một đêm hội tâm linh, một không gian nghệ thuật mang đậm dấu ấn Phật giáo, góp phần làm lan tỏa ánh sáng từ bi đến muôn nơi.

Most Venerable Thich Minh Quang also provided detailed feedback on the program’s structure and the connection between performances, encouraging the artists to delve deeper into the cultural elements of the nation while integrating the spirit of Buddhism to create performances that are both familiar and sacred. He remarked: “Each performance should be a Dharma teaching through music and imagery, touching the soul of the audience.”At the end of the rehearsal, the Venerable Monks encouraged the entire artistic team to continue their efforts, paying attention to every detail, so that the artistic program during the Vesak Buddha’s BirthDay celebration would truly become a spiritual gathering, an artistic space deeply imbued with Buddhist values, helping to spread the light of compassion far and wide.

Sau buổi tổng duyệt, Chư Tôn Đức đã tiến hành họp triển khai phân công các công việc cụ thể nhằm chuẩn bị chu đáo cho chương trình chính thức. Cuộc họp tập trung vào việc rà soát tiến độ, điều phối nhân sự, kỹ thuật và các yếu tố hậu cần, đảm bảo mỗi phần việc đều được thực hiện đúng kế hoạch, góp phần vào thành công chung của Đại lễ.

After the rehearsal, the Most Venerables held a meeting to assign specific tasks in preparation for the official program. The meeting focused on reviewing progress, coordinating personnel, technical aspects, and logistical elements, ensuring that each task was carried out according to plan, contributing to the overall success of the Vesak celebration.

Đại lễ Vesak là một sự kiện thiêng liêng và đầy ý nghĩa, không chỉ đối với cộng đồng Phật giáo mà còn với toàn nhân loại. Đây là dịp để tôn vinh cuộc đời và đạo hạnh của Đức Phật, khơi dậy những giá trị cao quý như từ bi, trí tuệ và hòa bình. Đại lễ Vesak 2025 dự kiến sẽ thu hút sự tham gia của đông đảo Tăng Ni, Phật tử và đại biểu quốc tế, là dịp để Việt Nam khẳng định vai trò, trách nhiệm trong việc lan tỏa thông điệp hòa bình và hợp tác vì sự phát triển bền vững.

The Vesak celebration is a sacred and meaningful event, not only for the Buddhist community but for all of humanity. It is an opportunity to honor the life and virtue of the Buddha, while awakening noble values such as compassion, wisdom, and peace. Vesak 2025 is expected to attract a large participation of monks, nuns, lay Buddhists, and international delegates, serving as a moment for Vietnam to affirm its role and responsibility in spreading the messages of peace and cooperation for sustainable development.
